Lijmevent 2024
On November 27, Joeri Forkink, Ruud Peiman, Charlotte Overmars and Brent Roosnek represented Riëd at the 10th edition of the Lijm Event at the Mikrocentrum in Veldhoven. This year’s event focused on the latest developments in adhesive technology, with a clear emphasis on sustainability and the aging of adhesive bonds. Topics such as the practical applications of adhesives, surface preparation and treatment, and quality control were explored in depth.
We also had the opportunity to showcase our sustainable PLASTGRIP® ME adhesive range, which, thanks to Micro Emission technology, is less harmful to people and the environment. It was very valuable to exchange ideas with other professionals and discuss potential collaborations.
In addition, several speakers shared fascinating insights into the latest trends and developments in adhesive technology, so we’re fully up to date again! All in all, a great day filled with inspiring conversations and new contacts. Hopefully, we’ll see you next year!
