TPO primer
PLASTGRIP® 5030 TPO Primer is a surface preparation compound developed to improve adhesion on thermoplastic materials. The product consists of resins dispersed in solvents and is supplied in a convenient aerosol format for easy and controlled application.
The primer is designed to enhance the bonding performance of our 2K-PU on plastics. By preparing the surface prior to bonding, the TPO Primer ensures improved adhesion and more reliable long-term performance.
- To avoid compatibility issues and ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to use PLASTGRIP® 5030 TPO Primer in combination with the complete Riëd System for plastic repair applications.
Application
- TPO Primer improves the adhesion of structural adhesives on thermoplastic materials such as PMMA, SAN, ABS, PP, PA, TPU, rigid PVC, CA, PP/EPDM, PE.

Shake the aerosol well before use. Apply a thin, even layer directly onto the prepared and clean plastic surface, keeping the can in a vertical position during spraying. Only apply the necessary amount to avoid drips and material waste.

Allow a minimum flash-off time of 5 minutes at 23°C before applying the adhesive or coating.
